A Waterfall Guide to Southern Piscataquis County is a complete guide to 37 scenic waterfalls located in the Piscataquis River watershed. All of the waterfalls featured in the guide are located within easy (day trip) driving distance of Bangor or Waterville. The guide contains photo essays, waterfall descriptions, detailed driving directions, trail descriptions, trail maps, GPS data, scenic ratings, photo notes and more. An effort has been made to provide the latest information on trail and access relocations. All maps and descriptions may be downloaded and printed on your home computer system.

Many of the waterfalls featured in this guide are unknown outside of the southern Piscataquis region, and some are little known even among the residents of the area. Included among these "unknown" waterfalls are several in the fifty to eighty foot range. The guide provides an opportunity to be one of the rare visitors to these hidden gems. The guide also provides directions to waterfalls you may have driven by for years, not knowing they were there.

The waterfalls shown on this page a just a sampling of the waterfalls featured in A Waterfall Guide to Southern Piscataquis County.
