Commercial Loan Officer/Credit Analyst
Position Summary-
This person will establish mutually beneficial relationships with banking partners including commercial loan officers; state and federal agencies including the U.S. Small Business Administration, USDA, and Finance Authority of Maine; partner non-profit organizations; and individuals. The candidate chosen to fill this position will provide loans and referrals for small businesses, and market all of EMDC’s programs and services.

Planner
Position Summary-
The position of Planner is responsible for delivering technical assistance to municipal and regional entities on a broad array of land use, development, environmental and infrastructure topics. The Planner also provides the ESRI’s GIS mapping services for the EMDC region.

Portfolio & Business Development Specialist
Position Summary-
The Portfolio & Business Development Specialist is part of a five-person team in the Lending Department and is the primary contact for current and potential EMDC lending clients. The position is responsible for assisting in the daily administration of the loan portfolio for EMDC as well as developing relationships with new businesses. The essential functions of the position include: (1) maintenance of the portfolio management systems (currently Ventures and DownHome Loan Manager) including managing the collections process; (2) ensuring compliance with funder covenants and government regulations as well as reviewing the portfolio regularly; (3) business development and technical assistance; and (4) assisting with loan closings.

Youth Career Advisor
Position Summary-
The Youth Career Advisor provides direct delivery of services to customers from application through job placement and follow-up. The Youth Career Advisor works with customers to develop and execute employment and training plans, utilizing appropriate resources and support services per program guidelines.
