Partners for Peace, the domestic violence resource center serving Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties, invites applications for the following positions:

 

  • Systems Advocate
  • Shelter Advocate
  • Police Department Based Advocate
  • Rural Advocate

 

Candidates should enjoy working independently in a friendly, fast-paced setting, and have a strong commitment to ending domestic abuse.

The successful candidates will be able to work effectively with a diverse group of staff and a changing resident population and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior experience working with people affected by abuse and with consensus decision-making is a plus. All staff participate in crisis intervention, advocacy and community response work.

All positions are full-time positions with a starting salary of $30,867 per year plus generous benefits.
