Our Chamber
The Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization and its mission is to unify and promote business and stimulate growth. Our vision is to create a truly regional, active, vital partnership between community and business in order to build a healthy marketplace and enriched living environment.
The Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce partners whenever it can and leads when it must. We coordinate ideas, energy and financial resources to accomplish collectively what none of us could ever accomplish individually. We work daily with other organizations, community and county leaders, elected officials and business professionals to assist in the formation and implementation of plans that will provide a brighter future for both residents and businesses and improve quality of life for us all.

Chamber Programs
Business After Hours – provides Chamber members and guests with opportunities to network while visiting and leaning more about other businesses and providers in the southern Piscataquis region.
Issues & Eggs – a forum that features informative and inspirational speakers touching on important and timely topics affecting the communities and businesses in our region.
Chamber Newsletter – a bimonthly publication full of member stories and pictures, chamber events and other news of importance to our business community.
Saturday Night in Dover-Foxcroft – The most popular, most talked-about concert series in Eastern and Northern Maine brings great performers and great audiences together for and provides a venue for other organizations to promote themselves and raise money.
Chamber Showcase – a venue for members and non-members to display and sell their products and services to other businesses and to hundreds of citizens throughout the region.
Business Seminars – educational opportunities for our members and their employees ranging from customer service, sales, marketing, labor issues, taxes and much more.
Tourist Information Guide – a fact-packed publication highlighting where to go and what to do in southern Piscataquis County. This all-inclusive book is distributed throughout the region, to state Chambers of Commerce and the seven Maine State Tourist Centers.
Annual Awards Program – our annual banquet where the Chamber honors the Business of the Year, the Small Business of the Year and the Rising Star Award presented to the outstanding contributing Chamber member under the age of 40.

Website Advertising
The Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce is excited to offer our members two advertising opportunities on our website! Currently we are averaging 7000 to 8,000 visits per month with expectations of 12,000 visits per month. We want to place your business out in front of our internet visitors.

Homepage ads should be 300 pixels wide by 250 pixels tall. Member Directory ads should be 172 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall.
How To Join
Businesses can join the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce for as little as $80 per year, depending on the size of the business. Membership in the chamber is open to any business operating in the following communities: Abbot, Atkinson, Blanchard, Bowerbank, Brownville, Dexter, Dover-Foxcroft, Guilford, Medford, Milo, Monson, Parkman, Sangerville, Sebec and Willimantic.

2007 Information Guidebook
The Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce has released an updated Piscataquis River Valley Guidebook for 2007. This unique pocket guide contains thirty-eight pages of information on area attractions, local events, town information, area services and local lodging.
